Economic Development Advisory Committee 2014
Mission Statement: Committed to helping Beverly City create opportunities for economic development through the growth of local business, business retention and business expansion, job retention and job expansion as well as the development of properties in the city that are vacant or underutilized. The committee will also be committed to quality of life issues that will help to attract new residents to the city while retaining the community members that are already here.
Goal: The committee’s goal is to identify any obstacles or hurdles to economic development and to work with the city council and administration to make needed changes in ordinances, practices and policies. The committee will also help to promote civic opportunities for city beautification as well as improvement to quality of life.
Meeting the last Thursday of every month.

- Learn the latest policies and procedures for obtaining funding from different lending institutions

Representatives from TD Bank, Celtic Bank, PNC Bank, UCEDC (a non-profit Economic Development Corporation), Cooperative Business Assistance Corporation plus Small Business Administration (SBA) will be present.
