Sundays on Stage at the Library
Sundays on Stage at the Library is a series
of free one hour concerts that are the perfect way to
start (or end) your week. Planned with the
assistance of Circle of Friends, from Riverton, an
organization that brings
musicians and music lovers together. This concert
series is presented Sundays
in March at 2pm at the
Burlington County Library in Westampton.
Spook Handy Spook has been called "A
real troubadour in the style of Pete Seeger and Phil
Ochs" whose songs "embody
the same intellectual rattle and simple honesty."The spirit of American folk music, its passion and
sense of purpose ring loud and clear in his performance.
His songs have been used in theater
and film, and have charted #6 on the Folk Radio charts.
Charlie Zahm, a successful performer on the Celtic
festival circuit, weaves magical moments of Scottish
and Irish history for the listener
and viewer. A master of the guitar as well, Charlie
brings an authentic love and respect for the music he
sings-and with dashes of humor and
a light in his eyes, he will draw you into
the stories of his songs!
Greg Cagno's ease of phrasing and clear,
warm baritone communicates
joy, wit, love and whatever else comes to mind
without pretense. His guitar playing is bold
and bassy, negotiating enlightening open tunings
and various worldly rhythms like it was a
stroll through the park.
