Court sessions:

Court sessions in Municipal Court that do not involve a reasonable likelihood of a jail sentence or loss, or suspension of license will continue to be conducted virtually.

The following Municipal Court matters will generally proceed in person unless all parties consent to a virtual format:

Cases involving DWI, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, disorderly persons, domestic violence, and other matters that involve a reasonable likelihood of a jail sentence of loss or suspension of license.

Virtual formats will continue to be used for straightforward matters, including but not limited to routine traffic matters, ordinance complaints, uncontested proceedings, and first appearances.

If you have any questions about appearing in court or using the Zoom application, please call the Court office and we will assist you with your court appearance and any questions you may have.

If you have not provided your contact information to an issuing officer or the Court, please contact the Court Administrator at (609) 747-4073 so the Court can contact you.
