Whitesbog is in need of volunteers for the weekend of the 33rd Annual Blueberry Festival (June 25-26) and the time from now until then to prepare for the festival. If you know of any folks who are good with computers, can make phone calls, organize sponsors and volunteers, set up event details and write emails and press releases, we would love to have them! Planning is well on its way and we need a few more hands to keep things running smoothly! Weekday volunteers would be preferable, but they don’t need to come to Whitesbog, they can work remotely with our shared Google Drive files and Social Media. Some volunteers who can come to the village and answer the phone will be helpful as well as the number of calls requesting information on the festival increases daily.
During the festival, we will need many volunteers to set up signs, tents, tables, man stations throughout the village, direct guests, sign up members, help customers, assist staff, and more! Volunteers get a t-shirt, free lunch ticket, and some time to enjoy the festival! Flexible folks who can stand for several hours in various weather conditions and have a friendly disposition are especially helpful! Call 609-893-4646 –

The Clare Estate offers top quality senior living on all care levels. Our senior living services and wellness care include a variety of options for all seniors, whether they choose independent living, assisted living, enhanced care, or memory care services. We are not a traditional care facility; we are a home specialized in the care and support of your loved one. We pride ourselves on the longevity of care providers who really get to know and bond with our resident as an extension of your family. One may think Alzheimer’s disease is the end of the story, in reality it is just the beginning of a new chapter that can be filled with great meaning and purpose. Making one resident smile can change the world, maybe not the entire world, but their world. We are currently looking for individuals who are compassionate and strive to make others smile. We are in search of people who are artists, musicians, and interested in sitting and chatting with our residents. The many crafts we offer, including bead making, tie blanket making, & artwork inspired by famous artists, encourage our residents to share their talents. One may never expect it, but even in our most reserved residents, an artist dwells! What we expect from our volunteers is a compassionate nature, willing to take part in our daily activities such as exercise, bingo, reading groups, crafts, cognitive exercises, and coffee socials. Feel free to contact us via e-mail or phone with any questions or comments. dmolinelli@theclareestate.com or (609)298-9960 ask for the activities department.
